Poker Reviews

Poker rooms vary greatly in many respects. Read our reviews to get a taste of what you can expect.

Our very own dedicated team of reviewers have spent hours trawling through hundreds of different online poker sites. Our main aim is to locate and then scrutinise the industry’s best (and worst) online poker rooms. We present our findings in clear and detailed reviews for each site that we find and hope that players can use our information wisely and refer to our reviews whenever needed.

We are constantly updating our information to bring you the latest changes that may have occurred including special offers that have recently surfaced.

We hope to provide our readers with invaluable information that can help them decide where the best place to play is. Each review contains a detailed break-down of the poker room. We ask the questions so you don’t have to. The poker reviews provide a fair representation of each website and we don’t just skim the surface. We peel back the layers to reveal the true integrity of a site.

Before a players attempts signing up with an online poker site, they should take into account their location. There are several location restrictions, especially for US players, so although you may have your sights set on a particular website, you may not be able to sign up. The reviews will tell a player if their location is restricted or not.

If a poker room isn’t licensed, do not even waste your time looking around, even if they advertise unbelievable special offers. If they are unlicensed, you won’t have a leg to stand on when something goes wrong, whether this is a software issue, payment issue or any other problem. Some licensing jurisdictions maintain strict controls when regulating a poker site as opposed to certain South and Central American jurisdictions that do not regulate poker sites or online casinos as well as they should do. We reveal where the site is licensed and in our opinion whether they can be trusted or not.

We also review the software that each site uses and which poker network they are on, giving descriptions of the obvious advantages or disadvantages that we noticed while checking out the site. Other software characteristics that we mention are things like the graphics and general layout and what features the players can use including the type of custom settings they have.

If a poker site has very little traffic, it can take time for a tournament to begin – especially a Multi Table Tourney (MTT). Websites with higher volumes of traffic will constantly have tournaments available throughout the day, meaning there is very little waiting once you have registered.

We also reveal what poker games are available and what promotions are on offer. Most poker rooms will definitely have Texas Hold’em, and maybe Omaha, Razz and Stud. We explain which poker bonuses we think are the best ones available online today. We also take customer support seriously and the reviews provide players with a variety of contact details for each online poker room, should they need to contact them.
