Stan James Adds Skill Games - 05-05-08 |
May 5 - Following the increasing demand for skill games by online
players from around the world, the Gibraltar based online gambling company,
Stan James Limited, has become the first to join the GamesAccount
Network this year in order to add new offerings to its portfolio of games.
Thanks to a new multiyear deal with GamesAccount, players who
access the Stan James site will be able to take their pick from games such as
backgammon, gin rummy and multiplayer blackjack, in addition to the wide
selection of other games.
Speaking after the signing of the deal, the head of e-gaming at
Stan James Limited, Russel Young, said: "Skill games broaden the demographic
appeal of our online sports book offering, particularly relevant for Southern
Mediterranean and Middle Eastern countries where backgammon is a phenomenon.
GameAccount was chosen after an exhaustive process investigating the potential
for these emerging games, the experience of potential suppliers and the
technical capabilities of their respective platforms."
GamesAccount was naturally delighted with the new partnership and
welcomed the company with open arms. "We are delighted to welcome Stan James
into our fast growing network which has explosive growth in player numbers and
staking activity," said the CEO of GameAccount, Kevin Dale. "Our blue chip
corporate customers benefit from unique skill-gaming software in attracting new
players - reducing the dreaded churn and driving meaningful revenues comparable
to poker. Gin rummy, backgammon and our unique multiplayer blackjack form a
compelling suite of person-to-person games supercharged by the presence of new
instant win side games to fill idle minutes."
Games Account boasts partnerships with William Hill, Sportingbet
and Paddy Power, to name just a few.
