Rome Casino Software Glitches Cause Alarm - 06-26-09 |
June 26 - Recently, some of Rome Casino's online slot games had a serious software glitch. Message boards were filled with player's complaints about missing wild symbols. Soon after the message boards began buzzing, Rome Casino received an official complaint about the problem.
The fact that there were missing wild symbols greatly affected the possible outcome of the slot games, such as Wild Sevens, Dougies Delights and others. Without the wilds, it would be impossible for winning combinations to appear on the reels, this making it impossible for players to win.
After Rome Casino received the complaints, they reported that they had removed the problematic games and hat thereby remedied the mistake. This, however, was not the case. Unsuspecting players continued to play the affected slots, putting their good money int slot machines that could possibly give them a return on their investment.
The online casino has recently been contacted and have explained that they have fixed the affected progressive slot games. The Rome Casino spokesperson said that they had decided to compensate the players who played on he faulty slot games, and that they will ensure that a problem of this type does not happen again.
It is still unclear whether the glitch occurred on the side of Rome Casino, or from the gaming software company that powers them, Top Game. Some frustrated players may never the the answers to the questions they have such as: "How and why did the wilds disappear?" Others will simply be happy that they can now continue to play their favorite online slots.
Right now we recommend staying away from Rome Casino in particular and Top Game casinos in general.
