Poker Pro Enters Online Bingo Market - 01-25-10 |
January 25 - Dave Ulliott, who shot to fame with his online poker avatar
'Devilfish' to win a World Series of Poker bracelet in 1997 (The $2,000 Pot-limit Hold 'em event), has branched
out into the online bingo world.
Ulliott, the English poker professional, recognized the potential there was
to be had in the ever growing online bingo industry and selected to expand the
Devilfish Gaming brand by launching Devilfish Bingo.
The new site is now open for business and is offering new players up to €50 on their first deposit, as well as the chance to join a wide range of free
games.
An interesting twist to this site is that Ulliott himself calls the number -
adding a personal touch to Devilfish Bingo.
The Chief Executive Officer of Devilfish Gaming, Paul Barnes, said about the
new site: "We have been keen for some time to enter the rapidly growing online
bingo market, and we believe our brand will be very attractive to bingo players
in our key markets."
"The bingo product will be offered alongside our existing poker and casino
offerings," he added.
Dave "Devilfish" Ulliott also had this to say about the new site: "Online
bingo is the most fun you can have on the web with your clothes on!"
The new site has a good social communications platform in place to allow
players to chat with each other.
The site also offers a number of side games, including slots,
video poker,
online blackjack and
online roulette.
