Party Gaming Teams with Channel 5 - 06-09-09 |
June 9 - In a bid to expand its product portfolio and introduce more gaming sites, the UK Channel 5 Broadcasting company announced a deal signed with Party Gaming.
The software company will supply Channel 5 with bingo and casino products and will help the media group launch two Five branded sites in the coming months.
The Chief Executive Officer of Party Gaming, Jim Ryan said: "With more than 30 million viewers each week and a household entertainment brand, Five is an important addition to our expanding business to business portfolio."
"We are confident of securing more B2B deals in the coming months as we match our eGaming talents and assets with the consumer reach of other companies around the world," he stated.
Channel 5 or "Five" as it is known now, launched in 1997 and is keen on expanding its digital business.
"Five is looking aggressively at home to expand its presence in digital media, both in terms of its core broadcast content as well as allied offerings that reflect the channel's unique sense of dynamism and fun," said the Chair and Chief Executive of Five, Dawn Airey. "We look forward to a long and prosperous partnership with Party Gaming, whose job it will be to create for Five's audience the best gaming experience."
Five already runs the Demand Five product, as well as the FiveFWD product aimed at young men.
Party Gaming is considered the world's leading listed online company, offering its products through a number of gaming platforms, including Party Casino, Party Bingo and Party Poker.
