NY Jets Become Latest Lottery Partner - 08-14-09 |
August 14 - NY Jets fans who have always dreamed of meeting their
favourite NFL team face to face and enjoying a day out with them, will be
pleased to note that a new partnership deal, signed between the Jets and the New
Jersey Lottery may allow them to do just that.
Following the decision by the National Football League to allow teams to
enter partnerships with state sponsored lotteries three months ago, the NY Jets
became the latest in a long list of teams to do so.
It is actually estimated that over 40% of all NFL teams have signed deals to
create branded lottery scratch cards.
The tickets created by the New Jersey Lottery for its deal with the Jets will
provide superb prizes, not least of all a unique 'Team Owner for a Day' that
will allow players to board a jet, benefit from the best seats in the stadium,
watch a press conference from up front and even meet Woody Johnson, owner of the
NY Jets.
"We are excited to partner with New Jersey Lottery to offer our fans not only
a chance at winning substantial monetary prizes, but unique Jets experiences not
offered anywhere else," said the Vice President of Business Operations for the
Jets, Matt Higgins. "Although the tickets will be sold throughout the state,
fans won't have to travel far to give the game a try, as the Lottery has
arranged for Jets Football Fantasy to be available at the Meadowlands on game
days."
