NGG Conference To Explore Online Gambling Fraud - 07-25-08

July 25 - Everybody in the gambling industry understands the huge importance of security. If players feel that they are not adequately protected from online gambling fraud, they will simply take their business elsewhere. For that reason, one of the most important issues to be discussed at the Next Generation Gambling conference in Montreal next week will be security.

One of the speakers to be part of the open day panel discussion will be Rich Orcutt, representing the security company, iovation, which services include online gambling fraud management. Orcutt will contribute to the talk, "Security and Fraud: Don't Let it Get You Down" that will be held on the first day of the conference on Tuesday, July 29th.

Over the past years, the online gambling world has been continuously targeted by cybercriminals who do everything in their power to attack internet casinos. Online gambling fraud can consist of anything from chargeback on credit card purchases, to in-game abuse and money laundering.

At the session, Orcutt will talk on extremely important issues pertaining to online gambling fraud. Attendees will learn how online fraud is evolving and why it continues to be a consistent problem, as well as the way device reputation changes the way that internet gambling sites combat fraud and abuse. Also on the agenda is the industry benefits of shared device intelligence and how this can applied to businesses.

The inaugural Next Generation Gambling, NGG conference, will take place from July 29 - 30 at the Palais de Congres, Montreal and will explore "multi channel delivery of games to customers while complying with federal and state laws in Canada, United States and Latin America."  Top personalities in the industry are expected to take part, including the Chairman of the Poker Players Alliance, the former Senator Alfonse D'Amato.
