New Downloadable Gambling App Launched by Paddy Power - 08-19-10 |
August 19 - Irish bookmaker, Paddy Power, has announced the launch of a brand new product that will make gaming even easier from iPhones or iPod Touch.
The group, in collaboration with the Swedish mobile gaming developer, Mobenga, created a downloadable iPhone application that will allow players to manage their entire online casino accounts through their devices.
The Chief Executive Officer of Mobenga, Christian Ratjer said: "Mobenga has worked closely and diligently with Paddy Power to make sure that all Paddy Power's customers get the best mobile service."
"Creating an iPhone application distributed via Apple's app store was a logical step in order to position the product within the natural distribution point for iPhone users, and ultimately deliver a better experience to them," he added.
The new app will allow players to open new accounts through Paddy Power online, deposit funds and withdraw winnings. In addition, they will be able to wager on Paddy Power's entire range of products, as well as place multiple bets.
The Product Manager at Paddy Power, James Grimes said that the group was delighted that customers were responding well to the new application.
"We have been developing the iPhone app for the past number of months," he said. "We have taken customer feedback and worked with our development partners, Mobenga, to deliver what we consider to be the best possible interface for clients."
Grimes said that the app was created to cater for the group's mobile customers in the United Kingdom and Ireland, and would be an excellent product to use in time for the beginning of the UK football season.
