Mobile Betting Increases Company Quarterly Revenue - 04-24-08

April 24 - Nobody doubts the growing popularity of mobile gaming, especially with companies specializing in this service doing so well in their financial reports. The latest numbers come from Probability Plc, a mobile betting company, listed on the Alternative Investment Market. Probability announced yesterday that its revenues have increased by 25% compared to the previous quarter. Altogether the company managed to earn GBP 1.16 million in the quarter ending March 31st, 2008.

The CEO of Probability, Charles Cohen said about the results: "We are pleased to have delivered consistent progress, quarter on quarter, during 2007 and to be starting the new financial year in a strong position. The exceptional winning streak for a single customer, which netted him over GBP 210,000 at Blackjack, should leave no doubt that serious gamblers can be attracted to the mobile betting platform. Winners are the best advertisement for a gambling business, and we are thrilled that the largest payout for a mobile casino game was one of our customers - something which we are using to good effect in our marketing."

Probability, which has a customer base of around 340,000, added 63,000 new players in the last quarter alone. At peak time, it is not usual for the company to record ten bets per second, with an average of 1.5 bets taking place every second during standard hours. A winner is recorded with the company, on average, every two seconds.

"The second half of 2007 has proven to be a period of transition for us," explained Cohen. "We have delivered on our promise to become a cash generative leader in the mobile gaming sector and created a platform for strong, future growth. We are looking forward to a very exciting and strong profitable year ahead."
