MediaLive Launches Baccarat Product - 06-28-09

June 28 - Live games are the way to go and are also the future of the online gaming market. This, according to MediaLive Casino Limited, when they presented their latest offering of live baccarat at the Global Gaming Expo Asia last week in Macau.

MediaLive Casino, licensed by Malta's Lotteries and Gaming Authority, explained that their baccarat product was formulated for those companies wishing to integrate the game into an already existing gaming platform, and as a result to widen their gaming offering. MediaLive claims that baccarat is able to attract and maintain a large number of online players who are serious about their gaming.

The location of the launch of the live baccarat product was no random choice. MediaLive decided to debut its product in Macau, a former Portuguese colony, because baccarat was first imported from there in the 15th century on its way to Europe.

Angelo De Gobbi, Sales and Marketing Manager for MediaLive said: "Players don't trust the algorithms that online casinos are based on anymore and are, instead, researching an environment like the one in a real casino in which they are accustomed to playing. These factors allow the live games to generate more income than classic virtual games."

MediaLive also stated that they possess a technology that could allow players from other online casinos to login to the baccarat live games from home using a video stream via the online casino they are playing at.

Other live games which are currently available through MediaLive are roulette, blackjack and Texas Hold'em and provide more than 70,000 hours a year of live broadcasts. Using servers through Europe and UPS back-up generators, the system is able to operate without electricity for about a week.
