Mecca Bingo Earns itself a Facelift - 08-02-10 |
 August 2 - Rank Interactive, owners and operators of the popular Mecca Bingo online bingo site, announced that the bingo room will be getting a major facelift later this year.
The announcement came as Rank announced its financial figures for the first half of the year, reporting that revenues had increased 10% year on year.
This was spurned on by the timely agreement signed with the TV show, Britain's Got Talent, which allowed the promotion of a top brand with a bingo twist.
However, after spending a lot on advertising campaigns and marketing investments, Rank saw its operating profits fall by 23% for the first six months of the year.
Nevertheless, Rank still sees Mecca Bingo as an excellent investment and will ensure that players are treated to a brand new look and feel in the later half of 2010.
In the meantime, Mecca Bingo continues to draw the crowds through a variety of promotions and bonuses.
This weekend saw players enjoy lots of cash prizes in the Britain's Got Talent bingo room through games such as Jumping for Joy and Buzzer Bonanza.
Other games to look out for include Evening Link which is held each night at 7 and 8 pm. Cards cost only 50 p and prizes worth up to £500 are up for grabs.
