Lithuania Lottery to Launch on Parlay - 05-16-09 |
June 16 - Parlay Entertainment, one of the leading developers and licensors of bingo and gaming solutions, has announced a lucrative new deal signed with the national lottery of Lithuania.
It was noted over the weekend that the Lithuanian National Lottery will begin working off the advanced Parlay 5.1 software platform as early as this summer.
The National Lottery, known as Olifeja, already has a well established land based operation and products that are are exclusive for the Lithuanian market. It is believed that the partnership with the Canadian based Parlay Entertainment will help the lottery diversify its product line and provide players with a larger choice of games and brands.
"We are pleased to be working with one of the true innovators of the online gaming industry," said the head of the online division for Olifeja, Mindaugas Marcinkevicius. "Olifeja has a land based retail network of lottery terminals, a weekly TV show and a number of unique local Lithuanian games. Only an open platform like Parlay5 gives us the level of flexibility and expandability to let us tie them together as part of a comprehensive gaming strategy."
Besides its offices in Oakville, Canada, Parlay Entertainment also has a presence in Barbados and Malta and continues to expand its products around the globe.
The Senior Vice President of Parlay Entertainment, Peter Trinz, said about the new deal: "Parlay is very proud and excited to be chosen as the technology provider for Olifeja.
