How to Play Online Blackjack |
The following points are designed to lesson the casino's edge when you play
online blackjack:
1. The most important thing is to begin by choosing only the most reliable and
reputable online casinos to gamble on. It is these online casinos that offer the
most advanced and fair online blackjack games.
2. Taking out 'insurance' should generally be avoided as the odds are always in
the casino's favor.
3. You should never split 4s, 5's, 10s or face cards.
4. However, always split 7s, 8s and Aces (provided the dealer's up card is a of
the same value or below) and 2s and 3s (provided the dealer's up card is a 4, 5
or 6).
5. Generally always hit on 16 because the only way to beat the dealer if you're
holding 16 is if he busts. Also, hit if you're holding 17 and the dealer is
showing a 10 or a picture card.
6. It's always a good idea to double-down if the dealer is showing a 4 and
you're holding a soft 15, 16 or 17. (Odds are that holding those cards,
then dealer will probably bust).
7. Also, double-down if your cards add up to 9 and the dealer is showing
3, 4, 5 or 6. If you have 10 and the dealer is showing any card other than a 10
or an Ace, double-down.
8. Always stand on hard 17 or more if the dealer is showing a 7 or below. Also,
stand on 13, 14, 15 and 16 if the dealer is showing 6 or below.
