Holocaust Musuem Shooter Linked to Casino tropez - 06-15-09

casino tropez reviewJune 15 - Online players on gambling boards across the industry were angry that internet sites and media outlets were quick to link Holocaust Museum shooter, James W. von Brunn to the world of online gambling.

It was revealed that the 88 year old's racist website carried an affiliate banner for Casino Tropez, the popular online casino. From this, some internet sites concluded that the vehemently anti-semitic and white supremacist von Brunn was somehow embroiled in the 'sordid' world of online gambling.

One can certainly deduce that the man is a cretin. He linked to a Playtech casino, and Playtech is an Israeli company.

Von Brunn entered the Holocaust Museum in Washington last week, opening fire and killing a security guard, before he was shot by return fire. He remains in critical condition in hospital.

One talk-backer on a popular casino portal said: "Had this dangerous fruitcake put an affiliate link to Amazon on his site, would you have 'revealed' his 'ties' to publishing? Other than embarrassing Casino Tropez and highlighting that they really should police their affiliates better, this article really just plays into the hands of those who would seize any tidbit of negativity to bash the gaming industry with."

Another guest commenting on an article that linked von Brunn to Casino Tropez was more to the point. "Why would you publish something like this?" he demanded. "You know damn well he was likely a 2 bit affiliate of Casino Tropez and likely made next to nothing... While I agree that it's almost ridiculous that a white supremacist site would feel it worth while to advertise an online gaming site on his own site, reporting on it does nothing but draw further negative attention to the industry. IMHO, you could have/should have just ignored this one. It's done nothing to help anyone or anything to the business that keeps your employees and yourself clothes and fed!"
