Expekt Links Up Again with Microgaming - 06-12-09 |
 June 12 - Expekt, the gambling group with a huge global reach and millions of loyal registered players, has announced that it is rejoining the Microgaming fold after a break of several years.
Expekt used to work off the Microgaming poker network before it left to join the Tain network. At the time, both Microgaming and Expekt described their parting of ways as "amicable".
Earlier this year, Mangas Internet, the industry leading gambling firm acquired Expekt and this week it was announced that the company would be moving back to the Microgaming network, this time through its casino gaming platform.
A deal was signed between the two to have Microgaming provide Expekt with a portfolio of download and instant games, thus diversifying its product line.
The Chief Executive Officer of Microgaming, Roger Raatgever, was pleased with the fact that Expekt is coming back on board. "It is always an exciting time when Microgaming establishes a major new license agreement as it means we can introduce our technology to new players from different markets around the world," he said. "We are extremely proud to partner with Expekt.com again as it is truly fantastic that a company with such impressive global reach has chosen us to deliver top quality entertainment to its customers."
Expekt also praised the creation of a new deal between the two giant entities. The company's Chief Executive, Per Widerstrom said: "The new casino is a very welcome addition to the Expekt.com portfolio. It looks fantastic. It's great fun to play and there are always huge progressive jackpots available."
"To cater for our international customer base, the casino is available in a range of languages," said Widerstrom. "Players can either download the feature rich software or simply connect on the fly and enjoy some Flash casino fun."
