Correct Online Craps Strategy

Like the excitement surrounding a Craps table in a land casino, you will fine that playing Craps in online casinos comes pretty close and can be just as if not more exciting and lucrative.

In a nutshell, Craps is a dice driven game that offers players a number of different betting options. The Shooter (player who throws the dice) rolls or 'throws' a pair of dice. If the dice total is equal to 7 or 11, he or she wins. If the dice total is 2,3 or 12, they lose and another player becomes the Shooter.

If the dice show any other total other than 2, 3, 7, 11 or 12 then that number is known as the 'Point'. The Shooter will then keep throwing the dice until they either throw the Point number (and win) or throw a 7 and lose.

Mathematical odds show that a Craps Shooter will win approximately 49.3% of the time. The people around Craps table in a casino place their bets based on a variety of betting options surrounding the outcome of the Shooter's dice throwing.

As is human nature, people are always on the lookout for new and improved ways to minimize the casino edge and increase their own. One of the latest 'betting strategies' that the more experienced online Craps players are experimenting with is known as the 'Countdown'.

How it works is if the Shooter?s first throw yields a 5 or 9, then all the other players who bet on him have the choice of doubling their initial bets. At this point the odds are 6:4 against the Shooter throwing and winning with a 5 or 9 (given that 6s and 7s lose). No player in their right mind would normally play this bet.

Unless, however, there was another way to capitalize which there just happens to be. If the Shooter manages to throw the dice 10 times in a row without 'winning' or 'losing', he will automatically win (as will all players with bets riding on the Shooter).

Or, if he makes his Point number (throws a 5 or 9) on his tenth roll, he will automatically win 10 times his original bet that was also doubled if you remember.

Proven mathematically to be a feasible Craps betting option, this is definitely worth exploring, wouldn't you say?
